Monday 2 April at 8:00 from 69 Boom Street. All dogs must be leashed. The route is 1.7 km long and is fairly level. This is a fun walk and there is no rush. There will be a pitstop for “parents. This is an Official Parys Arts Festival ARTstop and here you can buy a takeaway Crafter Coffee for your walk (this is optional and for your own account.) Enroute there will be several water stops and snack stations. Along the main road section of Parys, there will be four paint stations allowing the creative artistically inclined dog’s opportunity to let rip. This will entail flat trays of paint that the dogs walk through (or be dunked into) and they will then “paint” the sidewalks of Parys. Only water-soluble, lead-free non-harmful doggy paint will be used. We’ll end where we started at 69 Boom Street. There will be splash pools for the dogs for a quick bath before they go home. We would suggest you wear old clothes and bring towels to protect your seats for the drive back home. There will be many prizes like the ”ARTiest” dog & owner as well as spot prizes for the naughtiest, biggest, smallest, funniest, best dressed and coolest dog! There will be willing and able dog sitters available.

14 April om 18:00 by O’s Restaurant.

Enter an ARTy chair i.e. any chair (old/new/made/bought/DIY/whatever as long as one can sit on it.) Once you have a chair it needs to be ARTyfied by painting, decorating, dragging it behind your bakkie, whatever floats your boat or rocks your chair. When you are happy you enter it at The Garden at 8 Middle Street. Entry fee R100. Judging is open to the public on 14 April between 08:00 to 13:00.
